Problems to Solve

1) Bitcoin holders cannot use and grow BTC simultaneously.

In the Ethereum ecosystem, we have a concept of liquid staking token, i.e., stETH, where you can still have the liquidity of ETH, but it accrues value from the economy. We don’t have that in Bitcoin.

Loka enables anyone to put Bitcoin and retrieve lokBTC, a liquid LP token which has a 24hr rebasing mechanism that compounds value by itself.

2) Bitcoin miners don’t have permissionless and capital efficient financing access to upscale their mining operations.

Unless you’re one of the big mining companies that can scoop liquidity from retail by selling your shares through NASDAQ, typical Bitcoin miners rely on their mining reward and price action to grow their mining farms.

This situation leads to the growing centralization of miners, where two of the biggest mining pools consolidating hashrates from big mining companies now control more than 50% of the hashrates in the world.
